3-Day for the Cure

Today was not only Memorial Day, it marks the first day of the 24-week countdown to the Arizona 3-Day for the Cure. Yikes!

togetherness

When you experience something major with other people, it creates a bond. You might not “know” the people who shared the experience with you, but you know them.

I went to the official Training Kickoff for the Arizona 3-Day for the Cure this morning and it was amazing!

OK, so this doesn’t have anything to do with breast cancer. It is not, however, irrelevant. Far from it.

60 miles walked… a few hundred to go

60-sparkly

I have walked more than 60 miles since starting this 3-Day journey. I hit the big 6-0 yesterday. It took me five weeks — 35 days. In a little over six months, I’ll cover the same distance in just three days.
